It takes a village. VillageCard puts the whole village one scan away.

the moment itโ€™s needed.

VillageCard is a scannable emergency & care profile for autistic individuals and others with disabilities โ€” so caregivers, first responders, and anyone who helps can understand and support your loved one in seconds, even when youโ€™re not there.

How we protect your family's information

A safety tool for a vulnerable person has to be safe itself. Here's how.

Strangers see only the basicsThe public card never shows medical history, medications, addresses, or legal notes โ€” only what you place in the public tier.
Tiered, sign-in accessCare and guardian details are visible only to the people you authorize, after they sign in.
Encrypted & access-controlledInformation is encrypted in transit and at rest, with per-person permissions and logged access.
Revoke a lost card instantlyEvery card has an unguessable link you can rotate in one tap โ€” the old QR stops working immediately.
No ads. No selling data.We use your information only to provide the service โ€” never for advertising, never sold.
Not a 911 replacementVillageCard shares information; it doesn't dispatch help. In an emergency, always call 911.

Questions families ask

Is it really free?

Yes. The emergency & care card, its QR, tiered caregiver access, and printing it at home are all free, and always will be. Optional paid extras add convenience and capacity for your household: more profiles, more storage, unlimited caregiver seats, access history, and a durable shipped kit. See pricing.

Who can see my loved one's medical information?

Only people you authorize, after they sign in. The public card a stranger scans never shows medical details โ€” just how to help and who to call.

Is this a 911 or monitoring service?

No. VillageCard shares the information you choose; it is not a medical device, is not monitored, and does not dispatch help. In an emergency, always call 911.

What if the card is lost or stolen?

Sign in and replace the card link in one tap โ€” the old QR code stops working immediately. Then reprint the new one at home.

What happens to my data if VillageCard shuts down?

You can export or delete your information anytime, and you should keep your own copies of important documents. We would give notice and a window to export before any wind-down.

Do I need to install an app?

No app. The card opens in any phone's browser when scanned, and you manage everything from a simple web portal.

Why we built this

VillageCard comes from the team behind 1000 Villagers, building belonging for adults with profound autism and their aging parents. It exists for one promise: that the people who help your loved one always know how โ€” across a lifetime, and on the day you can't be in the room.
